Fees
In setting my fees I aim to create a fair balance between what I need to earn to secure my living and what different clients in different circumstances can afford to pay. In practice this means holding a number of concessionary spaces for psychotherapy clients on low incomes, and also being open to negotiate with clients in times of financial difficulty. I would also expect to charge less to run courses or training for a charity than I would for a private-sector company.
The figures that follow for 2007-2008 are, therefore, a guideline.
- £40-£50 for counselling or psychotherapy sessions with individuals, lasting 50 minutes;
- £50-£70 for counselling or psychotherapy sessions with couples, lasting an hour;
- £125-£150 per hour for group training and organisational consultancy;
- £150 per hour for Collaborative Divorce coaching and mediation.
